This event is for people who love cold water — not podiums.

On 29 December 2026, we’re gathering at the breathtaking Arfleet Mill Lakes at Dorset Adventure Park for a winter swim celebration beneath the ruins of Corfe Castle. The spring-fed lake is exceptionally clear, and at this time of year the water is below 5°C, officially classed as ice water. It may even freeze.

This is not a high-pressure race meet. It’s a day for cold-water enthusiasts — people who swim for joy, challenge, mental reset, and community.

Swim, laugh, warm up, eat well, cheer each other on, and finish the year feeling fully alive.

Discover stunning vistas both above and below the water's surface, all while championing conservation in this iconic race.

Enter the 5km for a swim out to Old Harry Rocks, before turning back to shore.

Alternatively enter the 2.5km challenge which involves a timed swim from Studland Beach to Old Harry Rocks, where you'll board a boat (via a lift), before being boated back to shore within 15 minutes.
